Roof Rack Recommendation for 2019 Audi Q7 with Sunroof

Hello, I am looking to buy a 2019 Audi Q7 and want a clean looking aero roof rack. The big drawback for me is the maximum clearance of my garage door height preventing me from buying anything that sits too high. The Thule AeroBlade Edge looks like it may work, but Thules web site has a warning suggesting opening or retracting the sunroof may damage the glass or opening mechanism. 45. Thule does not recommend opening, venting, or retracting the sunroof/moonroof/glass roof while the rack is mounted. Damage to the glass and/or opening mechanism can occur. Is this true?

For your 2019 Audi Q7 the Thule WingBar Edge roof rack part numbers # TH79FE, # TH29SC, and # TH52RE will be your best low-profile solution. The flush bar style of racks will give you the lowest clearance for your garage door, and is compatible with all bike and ski/snowboard racks.

The sunroof warning that Thule mentions for this rack is going to be the same for all roof racks. Basically all crossbar setups would potentially interfere but what's also worth noting is that all crossbars are basically going to create enough wind noise that even if you could open the roof with the rack installed you wouldn't want to.
