The Curt Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # C56196 is what you need to separate your brake light signal from your turn signal. This converter will take your combined turn and brake signal and isolate them so you will have left turn, right turn, and stop. This will help you to isolate the brake light so that you can meet the European standards.

Sorry...I was a little confused about the application. You aren't looking to separate the signal for a trailer, but rather for the truck itself. The good news is the converter will work for you. The bad news is you will need another part because you need separate bulbs. I recommend using the RoadMaster Bulb and Socket Set for Tail Light Wiring Kits # RM-155-2 which will require drilling into your tail light assembly to add that separate bulb you need. I recommend using a sealant like # LT37467 for the socket. What you will do is capture the combined turn/stop signal on each side of the vehicle and run that wire to the converter # C56196. Then you will run wire like # 16-1-1 sold by the foot from the converter to the current bulb on each side for the now separated turn function. Next you will run 2 wires from the stop light wire on the converter one to each side to connect to the red wire on the bulb socket # RM-155-2. The black wire will go to ground which you can create if there isn't one already noticeable. Then the brown wire will connect to your running light/tail light. I recommend using 2 packs of heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-10 to make your connections once you have tested all the functions.
