Question:
Will I need to cut my bed liner to install the rail kit or will it bolt on over the top of it?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If your pickup has a drop-in plastic bed liner it will need to be trimmed before you install the Curt 5th Wheel Base Rail Kit # C16420-204. 5th wheel rails must make metal to metal contact with the truck and the drop-in liner will interfere.
Spray-on liners are ok for 5th wheel rail installation since they cannot shift in the bed as a drop-in liner can.
