Can the Thule Doubletrack be Used with Womens Bikes
Question:
If you are using the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT Bike Rack part # TH92BJ with a bike that has an alternative frame like most womens bikes then you are going to want to use an adapter bar like the Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # SR0500 on each of those bikes. The adapter bar will hook around both the seat/handlebar post and provide a level surface for the frame hook to attach to. The frame hooks themselves can go pretty low but the issue is that if you did not use this adapter bar then you risk the frame clamps sliding down and coming loose.
