5th Airborne Pin Box 5AB-S500-700 Compatibility with Convert-A-Ball Adapter CAB-C5GX1216

Question:

Can you use a Convert-a-ball 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter with the 5th Airborne 5AB-S500-700? I am upgrading from a Fabex 560 which is too short for my Dodge Ram 2500 shortbed pickup and doesnt give me the turning radius I need.

Yes, you can replace your 5th wheel's Fabex 560 pin box with the Reese 5th Airborne Air-Ride Coupler # 5AB-S500-700 and use it with your Convert-A-Ball 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 which is shown in your photo. The adapter is compatible since the pin box is a fixed non-pivoting type.
