For your 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, you can use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit, # RP50064, which includes all of the under bed hardware for installing a set of Reese, # RP58058, rails. You will also need above bed hardware, # RP58430, to mount your above bed rails to the below bed brackets.
If you have CURT Rails, # C16204, then you could use the CURT Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit, # C16418, along with your existing rails. No other hardware would be needed.
We do not recommend mixing different manufacturers rails and under bed hardware for fifth-wheel towing because these items have not been tested to work together. Fit, capacity and safety issues could be a problem when mixing installation hardware.
We have a video installation of the Reese Quick-Install Custom Brackets on a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 HD for you to review, see link, this should be helpful with your installation, but be sure to follow the instructions with the install kit you purchase closely.
