Can a 1996 Pontiac Firebird Be Dolly-Towed
Question:
I have a 1996 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am six speed manual transmission rear drive. Can I tow this vehicle using a tow dolly with the rear wheels on the road and the transmission in neutral?

According to the owner's manual for your 1996 Pontiac Firebird, the vehicle cannot be towed with the drive wheels on the ground. They will need to be on a raised platform. Once done so you will need to have the ignition key turned to the OFF position, the steering wheel clamped in a straight-ahead position with a clamping device, and the transmission should be in neutral with the parking brake released.
