Can the Hollywood Racks TRS Bike Rack be Used on a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500

Since the Hollywood Racks TRS # HR3000 is compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" trailer hitch receivers it should work just fine with your 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500.

The only thing you will want to check is the clearance from the center of your hitch pin hole to the rearmost edge of your bumper. When the bike rack is folded up it measures 6-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack. As long as you have at least this much clearance you will be able to get full use out of this bike rack on your Sprinter.

One thing that a lot of Sprinter and ProMaster (which has a similar body style) owners like to use is a swing-away extender so that they can gain unrestricted access to the rear doors of their vehicle without unloading their bikes or bike rack. If this sounds like something you are interested in then I recommend going with the Yakima BackSwing # Y02483 as it is the lightest option we carry.

Please note that using any swing-away extender will reduce the overall weight capacity of your trailer hitch. You will want to make sure that the 52 lbs of the TRS plus the weight of your bikes does not exceed 50% of the tongue weight of your trailer hitch so you can safely use this option.
