Best Weight Distribution System for a 19 Foot Long Airstream Trailer

Question:

What do you recommend for 14 Suburban towing 19foot Airstream camper with 550 pounds TW and 4500 pounds GVW. The trailer has a 3foot lift. The Suburban receiver is really high. I normally use a 8" . I have a shank I can reuse with a total height of 12. Thanks,

The weight distribution system I recommend for your Airstream is the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution part # EQ37101ET which is rated for a total tongue weight of 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs. This will give you room to add more weight to your Airstream or tow a heavy trailer if the need arises. Also, the tongue weight range for a weight distribution system includes both the loaded ready to tow tongue weight of the trailer and any cargo stored behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

The Equal-i-zer system has four point sway control which is largely considered to be the best on the market and it is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty. It also comes with a hitch ball so if you have a weight distribution shank with the correct amount of rise/drop for your tow vehicle and trailer then you can reuse it and you won't need anything else.

I have attached a review video for you.
