Does Curt Echo Mobile Require Connecting Brake Output Circuit on 7-Way
Question:
Where on my truck do I connect the blue wire to is it to the brake switch on the brake pedal I’m using an adapter for a 79 f150 with a flat 4 and the only wire that isn’t specified just says electric brake is it necessary on this model?

You actually don't have to connect the brake output circuit (normally blue wire) on your 7-way to install the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180. Since you used a 4-way to 7-way adapter the only circuit that needs to be connected is the 12 volt accessory circuit (black wire) to the positive post of the vehicle battery with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot).
