Does Curt Trailer Hitch # C11474 Fit Diesel 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Sedan

Question:

The application specs for hitch #c11474 state that it both is and isnt designed for a VW Jetta TDI diesel sedan which is confusing. I have a gas and am wondering if it will fit properly. Also when I try to look at the instructions via the link on the page, it says that the instructions arent available from the manufacturer. Obviously a concern if the instructions arent available. The video shows installation on a newer model so not sure if there is a difference in install on my 2010- specially as they are different year models. Thanks for any assistance!

Our fitguide sometimes has to organize things in a way that can seem confusing. But long story short...the Curt hitch part # C11474 does fit your 2010 Volkswagen Jetta sedan as long as it is not a diesel. The install instructions are linked directly to the manufacturer install instructions so that if something changes we always have the most current set linked. Sometimes they change the URL slightly so the link goes down, but they should be up again soon. The install video that shows the hitch installed on the 2017 model would be the same process for your 2010.
