Replacement Landing Gear for Frame Clamps That Measure 18-1/2 Inches Apart
Question:
Hi there. My spider gears on my landing gear need replaced on both the lead and follow Jacks. I dont want to replace the whole jack cause they are fine. My jacks have no info on them or anything. They are both the same size jack. Can I order some new gears even if the new ones are different than the old ones. I will be replacing both gears on each side. My RV is a 1999 Savvana

If you have measured your landing gear like in the accompanying diagram and the frame clamps are 18-1/2 inches apart you have an uncommon spacing; you can use the Landing Gear Set # LG-183708 but would need to have a welder come in and remove your current brackets and weld new ones on that are the appropriate length.
The probable reason you have uncommon spacing between your brackets is the landing gear on your Avion Savannah was likely made by RBW some years ago and they are no longer in business which limits exact replacements for their parts.

We were discussing my landing gear measurements, mine were the ones with the 18.5inch spacing and you asked if a 41inch cross shaft would work. The measurement between my two jacks is 80inch would the part number you gave me work?
