What Prevents Bars of Malone Roof Rack MPG215 From Sliding Once Installed

What stops the ability of sliding the blades off the towers once mounting is complete?

As you tighten the claws that hold the bars of the # MPG215 to the rails of your vehicle the feet actually also tighten to the bottom of the crossbars which prevents the bar from being able to slide on the feet.
