I upgraded my axles and tires. The distance between the fron tire and rear tire on same side is 3”. Is that distance problematic?

Expert Reply:
The bare minimum distance that you can get away with between your tires on a tandem axle trailer is 2". We typically recommend 4" just to have more of a safety margin but since you are at 3" you should be just fine.
