2017 Honda Accord Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a Bike Rack

Question:

Is there an option for a 1 1/2inch hitch for a 2017 Honda Accord. The reason I ask is because I would like to add a hitch mounted bike rack and most of the racks I am looking at are 1 1/2inch not 1 1/4.

The common hitch size for accessories like bike racks is 1-1/4 inch or 2 inch, but there isn't a common 1-1/2 inch size. For your 2017 Honda Accord the hitch I'd recommend is the part # C11496 which is 1-1/4 inch.

For a bike rack I really like the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F.

This is a platform bike rack that only touches the bike at the tires and only weighs 35 lbs. The biggest drawback to platform bike racks has always been the weight of them, but with this rack you get the best of both worlds. The preferred attachment style with the lighter weight.
