Is Self-Locking Nut Needed for Tie-Down Loop for TracRac TracOne Ladder Racks
Question:
The TAPI-11019 Loop tie-down appears to have a threaded fitting in the bottom. That would seem to indicate you would not need the self-locking nut TAHD-11020. If you do need it, where would it go? It would seem you only need the HD-80122 T-bolt.

Expert Reply:
It is not necessary to use the self-locking nut in order to use the Tie-Down Loop for TracRac TracONE Ladder Racks # TAPI-11019; you will need the T-Bolt for TracRac Ladder Racks # HD-80122 which threads into the tie-down loop, as you mentioned.
