Availability of a Short 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer In-Bed Wiring Harness
Question:
Is there a shorter version of this extension cable?

Expert Reply:
All of the 5th wheel and gooseneck in-bed trailer wiring extensions are either 7 feet long, like # 20027, or 9 feet long. A shorter one is not available. What you could use is the Pigtail Wiring Harness, # PK11998, which is 4 feet long, and the Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector, # PK11893.
You would need to hardwire in the wiring harness to a trailer side connector like # PK12706. I have included a link to a video that should help and a link to our wiring FAQ. The wiring color codes and functions for the pigtail can be found on the product page in the Specs section.
