Troubleshooting Lippert Power Jack With Working Lights But Jack Wont Raise or Lower
Question:
My jack stopped working. I can raise and lower with the crank. The light works and the fuse is good. Is there a reset inside the unit housing?

If the fuse is good and the lights are working but you have to use the manual crank to raise/lower the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC285318 then you either have a bad ground or a bad battery/battery needs to be recharged.
This specific jack grounds through the frame so you will want to check to make sure that the plate and/or mounting hardware is connected to a clean/bare-metal surface as some paint can cause issues.
If that looks good then you will want to take your 12V battery and have it tested. Most auto parts stores are able to test and charge them for you right there. We also carry battery charger like part # CTEK56353 which also have a pulse maintenance to keep your battery fully charged until you unplug the charging kit.
