Attaching a Curt 7-Way Bracket to Rear Bumper of 2018 Honda Pilot
Question:
Hello, I installed a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch and now need to connect the wiring for the trailer. I purchased a Curt No-Drill Bracket to attach the 7 way socket but where on the hitch do I attach it? Since the hitch goes up under the plastic rear bumper, how does the mounting bracket reach the trailer connector? Thanks,

Actually we don't recommend drilling into hitches to attach trailer wiring brackets as the drilling will void the hitch warranty. If you have a no-drill bracket like the part # C57202 but can't reach the cross tube you'd have to mount it to the bumper too by drilling holes in it.
Looks like the 7-way you have is the part # 118286 based on what I found in your order notes. I don't see a 7-way bracket though but I am assuming you have something like what's in the picture I attached. Which this would be how we'd recommend attaching it to the rear bumper. You wouldn't have to mount it at an angle like that but you certainly could if you wanted.
