Will a Roof Rack Interfere with the Panoramic Roof on a 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sedan

Question:

Does the Thule aeroblade setup allow for full functionality of the sunroof? Most of what I read said that you cant operate the sunroof with the rack system in place. Before I purchase I would obviously like to know the answer to that question.

I spoke to my contact at Thule about the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack part # TH7601B-TH7602B and part # THKIT3083 which is a fit for your 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sedan with the panoramic roof and fixed mounting points. They do not recommend opening your panoramic roof with the roof rack installed. This will be the case for almost all vehicles that have a sun/moon or panoramic roof due to either a chance of interference or just the shear noise that the combo will produce. We don't have any roof racks for your C300 that the manufacturer will recommend leaving installed with the panoramic roof open unfortunately.
