Ladder Rack and Tonneau Cover Recommendation for 2016 Ford F-150 5-1/2 ft Bed

Question:

Can this rail system #RTC16 be mounted on the bedsides of a 2016 F-150 5-1/2foot bed, with no cargo management system? If so, could they be installed along with Item # BAK39329, which says it can be used with a ladder rack system, but makes no mention of a t-rail system? Thank you.

For your 2016 Ford F-150 5-1/2 foot bed the BAK Revolver X2 part # BAK39329 is a fit and can be installed with a ladder rack but there's only one ladder rack that is compatible. We can't recommend trying to modify the Rhino Rack RTC rack you mentioned.

The ladder rack you'd need is the Thule TracRac SR part # TH43002XT-508. The reason these two fit together is because the TracRac installs by mounting through the top of the bed rails through the stake pockets and the BAK mounts to the inside of the bed rails.
