Damper Recommendation for Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood on 2017 Coachmen Apex Nano

Question:

I want to add a Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood w/ Light - 12V Fan - No Damper - 12x20 - Smooth Black Item # S0721-20BD-F-1 to my 2017 Coachmen Apex Nano Travel Trailer. This will be a new installation, and I want to order the exterior wall vent at the same time. Not knowing how far the exhaust duct extends from the back face of the hood or how much overlap is recommended, I dont know if I can use the 5/8 deep V2111-03 vent or if I need to order the 1 3/4 deep V2111-13 vent and trim it to the desired depth. The wall thickness appears to be 1 3/8. Thanks

Since your wall thickness is 1-3/8 inches the damper you'll want is the deeper part # V2111-13 which is 1-3/4 inches. This will allow you to trim it back as needed so that it fits properly with the Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood # S0721-20BD-F-1.
