How to Determine the Manufacturer Date of a 2007 Winnebago Aspect
Question:
Im looking at a advertised 2007 winnebago aspect in Az. According to your info the 10th digit is a 6, So are they exaggerating the age lying or is it a 2007. Ive heard said the truck is bit the motorhome was added so it was not sold till year later,BUT THE VIN SAYS ITS A 2006.

For starters, on a motorhome like your 2007 Winnebago Aspect there are usually two different VIN's, one for the chassis and one for the body. In regards to the body, the online trailer VIN decoders are not always an exact representation of the trailer. They are a good guide that can be helpful but there very well may be some discrepancies. With that being said, the 10th digit of a trailer VIN represents the year and the number "6" represents 2006.
However, that does not necessarily mean the trailer manufacturer is lying. The trailer was likely made during 2006 for the 2007 model year as this is rather common practice for trailer manufacturers. It is the same for vehicle manufactures as well. For example, there are 2019 models out now when we are still in 2018. Also, if your Winnebago Aspect has a 2007 body then the chassis is likely a 2006 model year.
Once you get your Winnebago Aspect, if you are like most people then you are going to want to look into some enhancements for driving and controlling the motorhome. For this, the two most popular options are a Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1139-147 and a Steering Stabilizer part # RM-RBK24-RSSC in that order. The anti-sway bar is going to reduce the rocking feeling and the steering stabilizer is going to reduce the jolting feeling in the steering wheel.
I have attached road test/review videos for you as well.
