Recommended Front Mounted Hitch Extender for Winch
Question:
I have F350 with a Push Bumper on the front. Unfortunately now my winch will not connect to the trailer hitch that we have mounted on the front. I have roughly 9 inches to clear out the front. The winch is rated for 15,000 pounds. Is there a an extender that I can use?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your F-350 with Push Bumper the new 9 inch gap to your front mounted hitch receiver on your vehicle will require the Advantage SportsRack Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 11" Long # HE6000. This will give you an 11 inch extension and will change the leverage of your winch vertical load strength and reduce that by about 50%. The line pull strength will not noticeably change.
