What Trailer Hitch Will Allow for a Full Sized Spare Tire on a 2019 Toyota Highlander

I want a trailer hitch for my 2019 Toyota Highlander that will allow me to keep my full size aluminum spare wheel/tire. I will be using the trailer hitch to carry my family's four bikes with us when we travel.

The Curt trailer hitch # C13200 that we offer for a 2019 Toyota Highlander will allow for a full size spare tire to be used as long as it is not on the aluminum rim. This is true for all of the hitches that we have for your Highlander.
The aluminum rims are too wide, but the others will fit. The # C13200 is a good choice.

Then for a bike rack, I recommend the Yakima HoldUp 4 Bike Platform Rack part # Y02443-2 which is an excellent option for you. It can support bikes up to 50 lbs so some of the lighter electric bikes will work as well. The best part of all is that you don't have to remove the bike rack or bikes to access your rear cargo area.
