Recommended Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for a 2019 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
What hitch would you recommend for me to put on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler. I am wanting to carry my bikes so I need to make sure it clears my spare tire.

I recommend going with the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98856 for your 2019 Jeep Wrangler because it has a longer receiver portion (for more clearance) and a matte black finish that helps hide scratches much better than the glossy finish that is popular with other trailer hitches.
When we installed this on a 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited we found that from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the bumper measured 2-1/2" (see attached installation video).
If you don't already have a bike rack then the best option for you is the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR because it measures 13-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar of the bike rack. This bike rack can carry up to 4 bike weighing in at 35 lbs each. It doesn't come with locks but they can be added with parts # THSTL2 and # e98891.
I do recommend using the Softride Straps # SR54FR to keep the front wheels on your bikes from moving. The adapter bar # TH982XT is also something that is needed if any of your bikes have frames that do not have a horizontal top tube.
