Where Does the Replacement Cap with Strap for Valterra Gray Water Waste Valve Install

Question:

I have a 2008 Airstream 28 foot trailer. My gray and black water tanks converge to a 3 inch outlet and I have a knife valve on both. I noticed water coming out of one of my pipes and went to investigate further. I noticed what appears to be a 1.5 inch rubber cap on each pipe, just about 1 foot up on each pipe prior to the knife valve. One of the caps appears to be missing an allows water to come out through the smaller orifice. I was wondering what is the purpose of this extra, smaller cap and if this would be the correct replacement part. Thank you...

The Replacement Cap with Strap for Valterra Gray Water Waste Valve part # TSV6 is simply a cap for a 1-1/2" grey water waste valve like the one you see on the end of the Valterra Waste Valve for RV Gray Water Tank w/ Cap part # T1001D.

With that being said I am not exactly sure I know what rubber cap you are referring to. If you could send me a photo I would be glad to see if we have what you need to fix this but otherwise you would need to take your trailer to an RV service center to have them check the plumbing.

I have attached a list of our sewer connectors and fittings for you if you see one that matches what you have now.
