Will this Fit a 2017 Ford Truck F-250, with a Ford Factory Goosneck Hitch? In some of the videos of this type of safety chain loopCurt the rubber boot around the mount is removed. Does this have to be removed for installation?

The correct safety chain loop for Ford trucks with the factory gooseneck hitch installed is part # C60691 from Curt. These should directly fit the pucks without you needing to remove the trim ring or anything else.
Reese Safety Chain Loop # RP30887 is made for the factory-installed under-bed gooseneck hitches on 2014 and newer Ram trucks with towing prep package.
