How to Allow 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way to be Active all the Time
Question:
The manual says that if you leave it plugged into the truck the 12 v system will work ,mine dont. The camper plug is a round plug its plugged into the truck which is a round plug

Sounds like the 12 volt accessory circuit of your truck's 7-way turns off when the vehicle turns off. Is that correct? If you are looking for a way to keep the circuit active all the time you'd need to run a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) through a breaker like part # 9510 directly to the positive post of the battery and the circuit will be active all the time.
