The 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid only comes with the CVT transmission and it is flat towable with a recommended speed maximum of 70 mph. It is also recommended to start the car and let it run about 5 minutes before traveling and about every 6 hours of traveling to allow the fluids to properly lubricate the transmission. You will want to follow the procedures outlined in your owners manual each time.

For this application, I recommend starting with the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-524437-4 and then using the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. This is a very reliable combination designed to work together and then you can use the safety cables # RM-643.

For your towed vehicle wiring, the hybrid models require a separate system because the tail lights have variable voltage. I recommend the Roadmaster Standard Magnetic Tow Lights
Item # RM-2120.

For your vehicle braking, I recommend the Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 which requires no adjustment after the initial installation. You will simply flip a switch and then be ready to tow. This will make sure your braking is consistent with your motorhome applying your vehicle brakes at the same time and with the same amount of pressure.

Finally you will need a high-low adapter compatible with your vehicles. I've attached an article to assist with determining the correct fit and have also linked the product page for easy access to those options.
