How to Attach Gooseneck Trailer Lights to a 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD

I will be pulling a gooseneck trailer with my 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 and the 7-way on my trailer will not reach the one on the bumper of my truck. Do you have an extension?

I have the perfect option for your 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 that will not require you to use an extension harness in order to connect the lighting on your gooseneck trailer. For this, I recommend the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # 50-97-410. This wiring harness actually retains the use of the factory 7-way trailer connector on the rear bumper and gives you one in your bed for 5th wheel and gooseneck trailers.

It is super easy to install, all you need to do is plug it into the back of the bumper's 7-way and then run the wires up to a point in the bed where you feel it would work best for you. You will then use a hole saw to make an opening and use the included screws to secure it inside the bed.
