Availability of Glacier Tire Cable Chains For 2009 Nissan Rogue
Question:
can I use the pw1046 on a 2009 nissan rogue? Do I need to have them on all 4 tires?

You will need the Glacier Tire Cable Chains, part # PW1038, to fit either the 215/70R16 tire size or the 225/60R17 tire size on your 2009 Nissan Rogue. These cable chains are a SAE Class S tire chains which are designed for vehicles with limited wheel-well clearance. I would also recommend to use the Glacier Rubber Adjusters, part # PW100, to keep tension on the snow cable chains.
You will need to check your owners manual or with the car dealer to determine if you can use snow tire chains on your Nissan Rogue, or if there are any limitations.
The Glacier Tire Cable Chains, part # PW1046, you have referenced are not the correct size to fit your Nissan Rogue.
All 4 wheels can be chained to provide extra stability as long as the vehicles owner manual does not indicate cable chains cannot be used on all 4 wheels.
If your vehicle is all wheel drive, it is recommended to at least use the snow chains on the rear two tires. If it is front-wheel drive, it is recommended to at least have the snow chains on the front two tires.
I am including a link to a FAQ page on snow tire chains.
