How to Use the Thule Motion XT on a 2008 Honda CR-V and a 2012 Honda Accord

Hi Im looking for a cargo carrier that I can use for either a 2008 CRV or a 2012 4-door accord. Im currently looking at the Thule Motion XT XXL. Will this work for both vehicles?

Yes, the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH629906 will work on both a 2008 Honda CR-V and a 2012 Honda Accord. However, in order to make sure you can open the rear hatch on the CR-V with the Motion XT installed you will need to measure from the front fixed mounting point on the roof to the point where the hatch and roof line meet. As long as you have more than 55" you will be fine. The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH629806 only requires 51-1/4".
