Parts Needed to Install Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 in 2018 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I’d really like to buy the Echo for my 2018 Highlander but: 1 , 3 Other similar vehicles seem to have it recommended. Please help soon.

As long as you have a functional 7-way at the rear of your 2018 Toyota Highlander the Curt Echo brake controller part # C51180 will fit just fine and work well. If you need a 7-way you'd need to first start with a 4-way (if you don't have one of those either). For that you'd want the Curt part # C56217 which is a confirmed fit and then to convert to a 7-way you'd want the part # 37185. From there you'd just need to connect the black wire of the adapter to the positive post of the battery with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a breaker like part # 9510 and you'd be set.
