Could Disc Brakes be Added to McClain ATT-2040 Boat Trailer
Question:
Hello, I have a McClain ATT-2040 boat trailer to which I hope to add brakes. Will Kodiak or DeeMax calipers fit the trailer? Thanks.

I was able to determine that your McClain ATT-2040 trailer has UFP axles that do not come with brakes installed so the first thing you have to do is determine if you have brake flanges on your axles. I attached a picture of what the flanges look like for you to check out as well as a help article on how to add brakes to trailer axles as well. The guides will walk you through adding either electric over hydraulic disc brakes or hydraulic brakes.
