Comparing the Ultra-Fab 2 Inch Hitch 35-946402 and Buyers Products 2 Inch Hitch 1804060

Question:

How does the Ultra-Fab UF35-946402 compare to the Buyers Products 3371804060? They look the same, are they built by the same manufacturer? What is the differences? What are the largest dimensions square bumper that these hitches will fit on?

The Ultra-Fab 2" Motor Home Trailer Hitch Receiver part # UF35-946402 is made by Ultra-Fab and the Buyers Products RV Universal Receiver Hitch part # 3371804060 is made by Buyers Products, they are not the same company. There are no distinguishable differences that I am able to find. They will both fit a standard 4" x 4" RV bumper, nothing larger. I wish I had more info for you to help you choose between them but this is a very standard design and several other companies use it. I would go with the Ultra-Fab 2" Motor Home Trailer Hitch Receiver because it is more cost effective. Please note that either hitch will be limited to the bumper's capacity on your trailer.

Can the Byers Product and Ultra-Fab 4x4 bumper hitches be used on hollow bumpers used to store drain hoses?

Either option could be used but I would definitely try and determine the weight capacity of that bumper. You can contact the trailer manufacturer and they should be able to tell you this.
