Auto-Slide 5th Wheel Hitch for 2019 Ford F-250 Short Bed with Factory Prep

got my new truck with the 5th prep package. 2019 F-250 short bed. my trailer is not super heavy but I want a beefy hitch that will last a long time. thought about a PullRite but I know you don't sell them. I'm ready to spring for an automatic slide hitch. what can you suggest? my trailer has a standard fixed pin box.

For a well-made automatic-slide 5th wheel hitch rated high enough to give you a good safety margin look no further than the Demco 21K Hijacker # DM8550038. I like this hitch because of both its unique design and its build quality. The B&W Companion # BWRVK3370 you referenced is a great product too, but when you consider that just a few more bucks gets you the autoslide...it's an easy call.

The Hijacker offers automatic slide release, like the other guys' hitch, and a full 14-inches of slider travel, more than most hitches. Its USA build quality is excellent and in your Ford truck you will not need any type of adapters or installation kits; just drop the Hijacker into the factory pucks, turn the handles to lock it in place and head out.

The Hijacker also features a wraparound single-piece jaw that is reinforced with a solid steel locking bar that is 3/4-inches thick. These mean less rattle and chucking. It also includes polyurethane dampeners to help reduce noise and absorb road shock. Highly recommended.
