My favorite 5th wheel hitch and install kit for a 2018 Ford F-150 with the 5-1/2' bed is the Reese M5 # RP30928 along with custom install kit # RP56034-53. This is a very reliable and heavy duty setup for your truck.
You may also want the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C57008 which will give you an in bed 7-way for your 5th wheel trailer.
Since you have a 5-1/2' bed, in order to obtain turning clearance on a 90 degree turn you will need to use a rotating pin box. If you did not use one of these then the cab of the vehicle and loft of the trailer would likely make contact with one another which can cause thousands of dollars in damage. In order to recommend the correct rotating pin box for you I would need to know the make and model of pin box on your trailer now as the replacement would be based on that style. There should be a sticker on the pin box with this info.
The most common pin box is a Lippert 1621 and the correct replacement rotating pin box for this is the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # RP34FR. If you have a different pin box on you trailer then take a look at the attached help article which should guide you to the correct rotating pin box. I have also attached several install and demo videos for you as well. If you go with this setup, you'll also need Custom Wedge # RP44FR.
