I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for the 2019 Honda CR-V. It states that the vehicle can tow a trailer that weighs up to 1,500 pounds. I do still recommend verifying this information by checking your copy of the manual as well.

To tow a trailer with your CR-V you will need a trailer hitch, a wiring harness, and a ball mount and hitch ball combo.

Starting with the trailer hitch I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 76128 because it features higher weight capacities than the other options available (which just indicates a stronger overall design) along with the easiest installation process. It will use existing holes in the vehicle's frame for a no-drill installation and you won't need to trim any fascia on that brand new CR-V.

I have attached an installation video on the 2018 Honda CR-V that you can use for reference. The process should be pretty much identical for your 2019 model.

Then for a trailer wiring harness the Tekonsha T-One # 118741 will work perfectly. This custom harness will install by plugging right into a factory port in the rear cargo area behind the driver's-side trim panel. It will provide you with a 4-Way connector to connect with and power a trailer's basic signal lights.

I have again attached an installation video that you can follow along with.

Lastly to pull a trailer you will need a ball mount and hitch ball. The etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit # 989900 is a really nice option that includes two ball mounts (one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop and one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop) along with a 2 inch and 1-7/8 inch hitch ball. I have also attached a great article that explains how to choose the best ball mount for your setup if the ball mounts in this kit aren't sufficient to keep your trailer level.
