Availability of 1-1/4" to 2" Receiver Adapter

We do have trailer hitch adapters that allow you to use 2" accessories with a 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver. Out of our available selection I recommend using the Brophy # HTAD. You will need the pin # PC2 for the 1-1/4" end and pin # PC3 for the 2" end if you don't already have them.
Please note that adapters will reduce the weight capacity of your trailer hitch by 50% so if you only have 200 lbs of tongue weight now, once you install the adapter that will be reduced to 100 lbs.
If you are trying to carry a specific bike rack (which is the typical reason for an adapter) just let me know what bike rack it is and I can see if we have a specific adapter that would keep your trailer hitch weight ratings the same.
