Recommended Trailer Hitch and 7-Way Harness for 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
Hello. I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Looking for a hitch and also a 7-way harness. I have the factory plug behind the bumper but not the actual connector to hook up to the trailer. Can you tell me what I need?

Starting with the trailer hitch I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Hitch Receiver # 75699 for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I like this particular hitch because it is the only one for your vehicle that features a hidden cross tube design where only the receiver is visible behind the Jeep. This provides a really nice, factory-like appearance for the hitch. I have attached an image of this hitch installed so you can see exactly what I mean.
I have attached an installation video on the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee that you can also use for reference.
Then for a 7-Way wiring harness I recommend the Curt T-Connector # C55774. This will plug right into the factory round US connector that you found behind the rear bumper and provide you with both a 7-Way and 4-Way connector for hooking up to a trailer.
I have again attached an installation video that you can take a look at.
