Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch and Installation Kit for 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty 2WD
Question:
What Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch and kit do you recommend for a 2019 Ford F-250 2WD without factory system

Expert Reply:
The best sliding 5th wheel hitch for your 2019 Ford F-250 2WD is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550035 because it will automatically slide to give you turning clearance required so you don't need to get in and out of your truck to adjust between two locked positions to maneuver around gas pumps and make tighter turns at your campsite. This is especially nice on those rainy days to keep from jumping in and out of your cab a few times to make the adjustments.
If you prefer a manual slider, I recommend the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Round Tube Slider # RP30083. This will easily adjust without binding as it travels 11 inches front to back.
Either of these options can use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50074-58 which will utilize holes already present in your truck frame for installation without drilling into your truck frame. You may want to consider also adding the wiring harness # 50-97-410 for an easy connection access location and clean look.
If you prefer a clean bed, there is an excellent option that also gives you a gooseneck hitch. I recommend the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1116-5W which can then use the B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3400-5W. This combination is a customer favorite because of the function and clean bed when not in use.
