Is the Curt Trailer Hitch Rust Resistant
Question:
Thanks Conner for your information. The question I still have though is the fact that my Camry is a hybrid. Is the Curt hitch suitible for a hybrid, it doesn't make mention of it at all. Also if I go with the Curt hitch, is there an advantage to going with the Curt wiring harness as opposed to the other harness which is also listed for Camrys? Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11576 which fits your 2019 Toyota Camry comes with what is referred to as a powder coat finish. A powder coat finish is similar to paint in look but is much more weather resistant. I do not have any quantitative data to suggest how rust resistant it is, but I can say that Curt uses a sophisticated powder coating process called aquence technology. This process entails a thorough cleaning, a liquid a-coat, and then a spray powder coat. The Curt trailer hitch is also made in the USA which may speak to the quality of the powder coating process.
The install process between the 2018 and 2019 Toyota Camry will be the exact same. I have attached the install instructions of each hitch for you as well.

Thanks Conner for your information. The question I still have though is the fact that my Camry is a hybrid. I see that the Draw Tite hitch information on your website states that their hitch is not suitable for a hybrid. The Curt hitch makes no such notation. Also if I go with the Curt hitch, is there an advantage to going with the Curt wiring harness as opposed to the other harness which is also listed for Camrys? Thanks
