The Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118518, for the 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander is a powered converter. It draws power for the trailer lights from the vehicle battery and not from the tail lights. This harness connects to some pre-wired components on the vehicle which does not affect the tail lights on the vehicle so it will not produce excessive draw on vehicle LED tail lights and it will work fine if the trailer has LED, or incandescent tail lights. I have included a link to the installation details and a link to a video showing a typical installation for you.
