Kit Needed to Swap Lock Cores Out of Thule Force Cargo Box

Question:

Hello, I bought a used Thule Force cargo box. It arrived without keys for the locks. One lock is locked, other is unlocked. Is it possible to change them out for new Thule lock cylinders? I have been trying but can’t seem to make it work. Thank you for any help...

You can use a Thule Re-Keying kit part # TH450200 which comes with two new cores, two keys, and a change key. But to remove the old lock core will require you to unlock it first. Once unlocked you can insert the change key and the old core will slide right out. If you don't have a key to unlock what you have you'll need a key for it. To pick out the key you'd then want the part # THKEYNXXX where the X's equal your key number.
