Could Factory 4-Way of 2003 Ford F-150 be Cut Off After Installing Curt # C55774
Question:
I,m using to replace the factory 7way/4way on my 2003 F150 4x4 crewcab. What do you do with the original 4way that is exposed, cut it off?

The problem you could run into if you cut the factory 4-way of your 2003 Ford F-150 off when installing the part # C55774 is that the wire still would be active and could short out if you are not careful. If you went this route you'd need to tape each wire up well so that they wouldn't short. Other option would be to just leave the 4-way and tape it up and out of the way.
