Recommended Replacement 7-Way with Separate 4-Way for 2018 Ford F-150
Question:
Good morning! Here's the thing. I have a 2018 Ford F-150 with the factory 7-Way but I want to replace the connector. I want one that has a 7-Way and a 4-Way BUT don't want the 4-Way on the same connector, want to be able to hide it to connect with a light bar if that makes sense. I hope it does. If it does, is there a solution? Thanks!

What you are wanting to do makes perfect sense and I have a great solution for you.
For your 2018 Ford F-150 I recommend the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness # 74682. This will replace your existing 7-Way connector and plug right into the US Car connector under the truck. It will provide you with a fully-functional 7-Way along with 4-Way separate from the main connector that you can store in a different location.
I have attached a short video demonstration and the written installation instructions that you can check out as well.
