Tire Chains to Fit 2004 Ford F-350 for Plowing
Question:
should I equip my truck with four chains? Also they will be used to go into the woods on an unplowed road fairly steep grade and I will also use the chains for plowing on a steep grade. Are these a recommended chain for my purpose? Thanks

The Titan Chain snow chains you referenced, part # TC2828, are a good chain for the purpose you're intending to use them but they may not be a good choice for your truck. First of all it depends on your tire size. Let me know what size tires you have on your truck so I can confirm a fit. Secondly, your 2004 Ford F-350's owner's manual recommends Class S compatible chains to make sure there's enough clearance between the chain and any part of the truck such as wiring or brake lines.
With these things in mind I looked up that your truck originally came equipped with either 265/75-16 or 235/85-16 size tires. If you have the former I recommend part # TC2326 which are a high quality Class S compatible chain. If you have 235/85-16 size tires instead I recommend part # TC2321 which are the same only smaller.
The biggest catch to both of these is they really aren't for off-road use.
Ford doesn't mention any limitations to putting chains on all 4 tires but with 4-wheel drive vehicles they're usually recommended for the rear tires because there is generally less clearance issues on back.
