2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ Brake Controller Installation
Question:
I have ordered and received the P2, as recommended by your website. I already have the 7-pin plug at the back. I followed the recs of Mike, one of the other experts on this site, which he provided in another video for the same type of truck which was a great help and very easy to follow. I have the same 4-wire configuration under my dash as in Mikes reply: red/black, blue, small light blue/white, and small white. However, it appears I dont have power flowing from my dash into the red/black wire from under the dash that I would connect to the brake controller. Ive checked the fuses in the engine bay and they look and test fine. I cannot find any of those 4 wires with a constant 12v juice. Any help is appreciated.

For your 2007 Chevy Avalanche the power under your dash will require you to connect cables under your hood. I've attached a video to assist as well as linked an article to assist. You can see this connection at the 1:57 mark on the video.
