No power to accessory spade in 7 way trailer. 2016 gmc 3500 Denali

Under the hood of your truck there's a power distribution box that has a connection that you need to make to activate the 12 volt power circuit of the trailer wiring. Under the brake booster is a wire that needs to be connected to a stud on that power box. If you check out the help article I attached you'll see how to do this under the finalizing the connections for the brake controller heading.
